Felony Burglary in Tiger under Investigation

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a felony second-degree burglary and theft by taking case in Tiger.  On April 6, 2023, a deputy responded to an address on McMillan Lane and spoke with the owner, who stated that someone had entered the residence, rummaged through it, and stole multiple items.  The items consisted of gas-powered tools, electric power tools, and a Ruger 22-caliber rifle.  The total combined approximate value of the items stolen was $4,150.  The stolen items have been entered into the Georgia Crime Information Center database as stolen.
