Fatal Accident on Highway 106

The Georgia State Patrol has released details on the fatal accident that occurred Sunday, March 26, on Highway 106 near New Hope Road.  According to the Georgia State Patrol, a white 2002 Ford F-150 driven by 77-year-old Janie Pulliam of Toccoa, failed to maintain its lane on Georgia 106, causing a green 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by 44-year-old James Kelley to strike the truck head-on.  The motorcyclist was thrown fifty feet into a ditch where he succumbed to his injuries.  The GSP report a small fire broke out after the crash.  Charges are pending against Pulliam.
