Fallen Trees temporarily close Old Highway 441 South
On Friday, December 23, 2022, numerous trees fell and brought down power lines forcing the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office and Rabun County Emergency Medical Services to temporarily close Old Highway 441 South from Rabun Metal Products to Worley Creek Road. Workers worked tirelessly in the frigid cold weather to clear trees and restore power to the area allowing the road to reopen.
