FAITH hosts ‘A Christmas Village for Hope and Healing’

FAITH is making the holidays all that much merrier this year as they have partnered with a local resident in Tiger to bring “A Christmas Villiage” to life.

According to Victim Advocate and Office Manager Brooke Kowalsky, Kirk Knous had been a collector of all things Christmas for some time before he wanted to share his enthusiasm for the season with the public.

A Christmas Village came to life after Knous approached longtime friend and FAITH Director Caroline Wallis who, collectively, came up with the idea of creating something beautiful for people to enjoy during the Christmas season.

The Christmas village will feature an assortment of holiday splendor such as outdoor dancing lights with Christmas music, an indoor miniature Christmas village and even Santa himself will be there with his reindeer helper according to Kowalsky.

Admission is free but donations are suggested as all proceeds go directly to benefit FAITH.

The dazzling display of lights will open for two weekends only in December – 7th and 8th; 14th and 15th. Hours of operation for both weekends will be from 6 to 8 p.m.

Turn off Hwy. 441 at Goats On The Roof; it is the second building on your right. Parking is available at the first building on your right and also at Goats On the Roof.
