Employees of Clayton’s Home Depot location soon to see bonuses

CLAYTON — Rabun County’s own Home Depot will be the one amongst many companies to stand to benefit from the recent legislation passed by President Donald Trump last month.

According to a list compiled by the Americans for Tax Reform, every hourly employee will receive a tax reform bonus, up to $1,000 this year.

Home Depot has made a public announcement in reference to giving employees bonuses because of changes made to the tax code. This will directly impact the workers at Home Depot’s 90 stores in Georgia, including it’s Clayton location and thousands of others across the country. To date, at least 3 million Americans are receiving bonuses or wage hikes because of our tax bill.
