Early voting for the 2018 Georgia Elections kicks off

RABUN COUNTY — Early voting for the May 22 primary elections starts Monday, April 30 across Georgia.

In the primaries, most statewide and local races will be up for grabs, including those for governor and the general assembly. Other statewide races will include lieutenant governor, secretary of state and other state cabinet posts.

Most counties, including Rabun, will have commissioners’ posts and education boards open for election. As well as judicial posts open.

Early voting takes place at the office of the Board of Elections and Registration located at 19 Jo Dotson Circle in Suite 201 located in Clayton. Office hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Advance in-person voting lasts for the three weeks before the May 22 primary.

Early voting is available to all registered voters at polling places designated by each county. Voters must report to their regular precincts if they wait to vote on Election Day.
