Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over

A campaign against drunk driving began last week.

The Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s nation-wide, annual “Drive Sober or get Pulled Over” campaign began Friday and will continue through Labor Day.

According to the DOT, this crack-down on drunk drivers is important, as statistics show that over 10,000 alcohol-impaired fatalities occurred in 2010. The focus of the campaign is to reduce that number as much as possible.
