DPH reports 141 New Cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County in Last Two Weeks

Rabun County continues to see the number of COVID-19 cases among its residents increase.  According to the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH), there have been 141 new cases in the last two weeks bringing the total number of cases reported in the county to 1,896 since the start of the pandemic.  The death count for Rabun County is 46.  In neighboring counties, Habersham County has had 538 new cases in the last two weeks with 5,857 total cases reported and 160 deaths, White County lists 455 new cases with 4,199 totals cases and 93 fatalities, and Towns County reports 77 new cases with 1,447 total cases and 57 deaths.  Statewide, the Georgia DPH reports 1,164,634 total cases, 76,300 hospitalizations, and 20,705 deaths.
