Domestic Dispute results in Gun Charges

A homeless man stands charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a concealed weapon after a domestic dispute.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on May 16, deputies were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Highway 76 West in the area of Bent Laurel Ridge.  A person called 911 to report a male and female on the side of the road in a verbal dispute.  Deputies arrived and the man, 23-year-old Jacob Ray Vincent Nicholson, pulled out a silver and black handgun.  Deputies immediately told him to drop it and he complied.  He was arrested and transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking on the two charges.
