Dixon says Goodbye to Rabun Co. Rec

After more than a decade serving as Athletic Director for the Rabun County Recreation Department, Adam Dixon is saying goodbye.  “I think most people know that I have been around the Rec Department over the last decade or so, that I have been there as the Assistant Director and the Athletic Director and Tuesday is my last day as such.  I’m going back into the private sector, going back into the financial advisor field to see my own family as much as see other peoples’ families, that is my goal anyway.  Amy Martin is going to be taking over my position at the Rec Department, so I’m leaving the Rec Department in good hands.”  Dixon thanks everyone for all the support he has received at the Rec over the last 12 years.  “Thank you to everybody that has supported me over the last several years.  It has been great.  I’m going to miss everybody, especially the kiddos.  Those will be the things that I miss the most, the relationships with kids, parents, and coaches.”  Dixon leaves to join Woodmen Life Insurance in Tiger.
