Deputy makes Meth Trafficking Arrest

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office announces that on the night of December 29, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at North Church Street and Valley Street for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, Corry Beth Purcell of Clayton was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Purcell was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the charges.
