Deputies work Three Wrecks in Rabun Co.
Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office recently worked three wrecks in the county. The first happened at 9:12am on Nov. 15. The driver of a 2000 Chevy Malibu was hit by a deer on Georgia 15 near Cathy Road. The driver was not injured. The second wreck occurred at 7pm on Nov. 15. A deputy reports that the driver of a 2015 Dodge Durango did not see a 2007 Audi RS4 as it attempted to change lanes and struck it. Neither driver was injured in the two-vehicle accident. The third happened at 10:28am on Nov. 17. The driver of a 2017 Chevy Colorado told the deputy that he was traveling east on Applewood Road and had gotten too far over into the oncoming lane while negotiating a curve, which caused him to hit a 2013 Ford Focus. No one was injured in the two-vehicle accident.
