Deer cause Two Wrecks in Rabun Co.

Deer are being blamed for causing two recent wrecks in Rabun County.  On November 9, 2022, at 7:15pm, a deputy of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked a single-vehicle accident on Old Highway 441 South where the driver of a 2010 Ford Explorer stated that a deer ran into the side of the vehicle near the front.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  On November 10, 2022, at 9:35pm, the driver of a 2005 Dodge Caravan told a deputy a deer struck the left side of the vehicle near the front on Warwoman Road.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.
