Criminal Damage to Property Case in Dillard under Investigation

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a criminal damage to property case in Dillard where six vehicles had windshields and side windows broken.  On June 26, a deputy responded to an address on Highway 441 North and spoke with the complainant.  He reported damage to a 1994 Ford Escort, a 1961 Ford Falcon, a 1960 Pontiac Catalina, a 2000’s model Pontiac G6, a 1970’s model Jeepster, and a 1980’s model Ford Mustang GLX.  The complainant asked for a damage report to be done for insurance purposes, even though he couldn’t give an exact total in damages due to some of the vehicles being classic cars that you can no longer find parts for anymore.  The case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division.
