COVID-19 has claimed the lives of 1,295 Georgians. The Georgia Department of Public Health reports that 200,814 people have been tested for the virus, 30,420 people have tested positive for COVID-19, and 5,668 people are being hospitalized in the state. In Rabun County, 13 people have tested positive for COVID-19, 5 people are being hospitalized for the respiratory virus, and 1 person has died. Habersham County lists 367 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 54 hospitalizations, and 11 deaths. In Towns County, 20 people have tested positive for the virus, 7 people are being hospitalized, and 1 person has died.
