COVID-19 Cases increase in Georgia

There are still just three positive cases of COVID-19 in Rabun County; however, the numbers continue to rise in the state.  According to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Daily Status Report, there are now 7,558 confirmed cases in the state, which is an increase of 248 cases in the last 24 hours.  The Georgia Department of Public Health reports that 1,393 people are being hospitalized and there have been 294 deaths due to the respiratory virus. The State of Georgia has a new COVID-19 hotline. If you believe that you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, contact your primary care doctor or an urgent care clinic.
