COVID-19 Cases continue to climb in Georgia
The number of COVID-19 cases continues to climb in Georgia. According to the Georgia Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Daily Status Report for Friday, April 24, 2020, at 11:30am, there are now 22,147 infections, 4,221 hospitalizations, and 892 deaths due to the respiratory virus in the state. Rabun County still lists 9 confirmed positive cases of the virus. A confirmed case is defined as a person who has tested positive for 2019 novel coronavirus.
