Community invited to visit Rabun Co. Rec

The community is invited to see all the fun things to do at the Rabun County Recreation Department, says Athletic Supervisor Adam Dixon.  “Anybody that hasn’t been here in a while, I think it would be an eye-opening experience to come down and see what your tax dollars have done.  Our rec department is second to none.  We have a fitness room, a pond, a loop trail, a dog park, and more.  So, now that it is getting a little prettier outside people can come down and enjoy what they own, that’s the cool thing about a public recreation department.  Every week somebody comes in that has lived in Rabun County a long time or is visiting Rabun County and they are like ‘We didn’t know.  This is a hidden treasure.  We’ll be back!’  So, anybody that wants to come down and visit us, we welcome them to do that.  We’re open seven days a week.  So, come and see us.”  The Rabun County Recreation Department is located at 400 Rabun Park Drive in Tiger.
