Collier’s Death ruled a Suicide

New information has been released in the Deborah Collier investigation.  In a statement released Friday afternoon, the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office reports that the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office determined that the cause of death was inhalation of superheated gases, thermal injuries, and hydrocodone intoxication and that the manner of death was suicide.  On September 10, family members reported the 59-year-old from Athens missing.  On September 11, her burned body was discovered just outside the Town of Tallulah Falls.
