Clayton Wins in Special Olympics
Clayton won big at Georgia State Special Olympics Fall Games in Dalton, Georgia this year. Over 2,000 competitors and coaches traveled from across the state to compete in the annual event which featured a variety of sports. James Andrews won first in the 5K speed walking. Two teams from Clayton made up of 4 members including unified partners and Special Olympics participants in the sport of bocce placed fourth and fifth out of over 180 teams competing. Melissa Henderson, Justin Truax, John Marshall and Michael Urpschot placed Fourth and the team of Alesha and Duchess Woodall and Corey and Delores Bryant placed Fifth.
