Clayton to clean up City Property

The Clayton City Council recently passed a motion by Mayor Kurt Cannon to clean up some city-owned property.  “So, ever since I’ve been in office we’ve been working to improve how the city property looks and clean it all up.  In continuing to do that we’re going to clean out the back corner, grade that down some, and then put in some chain-link fence and move all of our supplies and some of our equipment back into that corner just to make things look a lot better at City Hall and to secure our supplies so it doesn’t get stolen.  Then also over at the old City Hall, we’re going to clean up all of that parking area and the building to make it look better and then look at putting in some lighting and paving some of that parking area over there as well.”  The Clayton City Council unanimously approved the motion at its regular monthly meeting for October.
