Clayton Set for Consolidation Meeting

The Clayton City Council met earlier this week, taking a few minutes to discuss a meeting set for Thursday afternoon.

Thursday afternoon’s meeting at the Old Clayton Inn will bring together representatives from across the county who wish to attend and discuss the consolidation of water and sewer systems throughout the county.

Clayton Mayor David Phillips hopes the meeting will accomplish the goal of getting everyone on the same page.

The meeting will begin at 4pm.

Set to mediate the meeting is Dennis Epps from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government.
