Clayton Police to present Active Shooter Class at Library

On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, the Clayton Police Department will present an Active Shooter class at the Rabun County Public Library, says Clayton Police Chief Andy Strait.  “We’re going to be doing a presentation on active shooter threats in the workplace and businesses based on the FBI’s class that they teach the run, hide, fight premise.  It just gives folks instructions on what to do when things like that happen or if it happens.  I think it is going to be a good presentation.  We are going to do one for the public on Tuesday morning at 10:30am.”  The presentation is free and open to the public.  The library is located at 73 Jo Dotson Circle in Clayton.
