Clayton Police Department asking for public’s help locating stolen Jeep

The Clayton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen black 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

According to Clayton Police Chief Andy Strait, the four-door Jeep was stolen off the lot at Duvall’s Automotive Group Saturday evening around 10 p.m.

Authorities were able to obtain video surveillance from when the car-theft occurred, although no positive identification has been made on the crook.

Strait said any help that the public can provide to the Clayton Police Department as this investigation continues would be of great use in the hopes of recovering the stolen vehicle.

Authorities believe the Jeep is traveling Northbound and could be in North Carolina.
