Clayton Man arrested on Meth Charge

A Clayton man stands charged with possession of methamphetamine after a recent traffic stop for failure to maintain lane.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Nov. 21, a deputy stopped a 1989 Chevrolet 1500 on Old 441 South near the Rabun Golf Course.  During the traffic stop, K9 Doug was deployed, a search of the vehicle was conducted, and a suspected illegal substance was found.  The deputy arrested 24-year-old Tyler Alvin Blake Ramey of Clayton for possession of a plastic bag containing a crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamine.  He was booked into the Rabun County Detention Center on the charge.
