City of Clayton hiring Water and Sewer Maintenance Worker

The City of Clayton is currently accepting applications for a Water and Sewer Maintenance Worker.  This person will be responsible for performing a variety of technical and maintenance work relative to the operation, maintenance, construction and repair of the City’s public water supply, storage and distribution system, and the City’s wastewater-sewer collection system. The Water and Sewer Maintenance Worker is required to have the physical strength to hand excavate, be involved with heavy lifting, and be able to or willing to learn to properly operate the City’s excavation equipment. The Water and Sewer Maintenance Worker is required to have a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or an equivalent GED. The Water and Sewer Maintenance Worker is required to respond to emergency calls designated after hours during the week and on weekends and holidays. The Water and Sewer Maintenance Worker reports to the Public Works Director and is responsible for the mentioned tasks as well as any other that may be required by the City.
