City of Clayton close to hiring New City Manager

The City of Clayton is close to hiring a new City Manager, says Mayor Jordan Green.  “We do have a finalist and we’re in the pre-employment negotiation phase.  Hopefully, that will work and hopefully, that will work.  So, hopefully, by next week we will be able to name who that is and get ready to go forward.”  Cissy Henry resigned as City Manager on September 21, 2020.  She had held the position since 2005.
