Car Passenger busted with Illegal Drugs

A Gainesville, Georgia woman stands charged with possession of illegal drugs after a traffic stop on Georgia 15 at the intersection of Rabun Park Drive in Tiger.  The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office reports that on March 3, a deputy stopped a 2003 Ford F150 for an obscured tag and a search of the vehicle was conducted.  After the search of the vehicle, 46-year-old Christina Ann Jackson of Gainesville, a passenger in the vehicle was arrested for two counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, methamphetamine and opium, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.  She was then transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking.
