Attorney General Merrick B. Garland has announced the appointment of U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan,  “I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Attorney General and the leadership of the Department of Justice on issues affecting the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. Attorney Office community, and our federal, state, and local stakeholders.”  The Senate confirmed Buchanan’s appointment as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia in April 2022.
