Upon arrival, Special Agent in Charge Mitchell Posey said authorities smelled a strong odor of marijuana which led to a search warrant.

Jackson County authorities seized approximately 5.5 pounds of marijuana, a large quantity of Butane Honey Oil (BHO) along with $7,462.

According to Posey, the marijuana and BHO have a street value of $27,500 dollars. He said BHO is a super-potent type of hash that has surged on the marijuana market.

“The ‘dabs’ of oil can be vaporized and inhaled without the pungent smell of weed and produce a soaring high for even longtime cannabis smokers with a strong tolerance for the drug,” Posey said.

Allen was charged with Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute and
Possession of Schedule One BHO with Intent to Distribute.

Allen was booked at the Jackson County Detention Center.
