In area high school varsity football action from this past Friday night, Stephens County beat Habersham Central 27-12,  Hart County lost to Jefferson 26-19, Oconee County beat Thomasville 44-14, Elbert County lost to Washington-Wilkes 42-7, and Banks County lost to Fannin County 49-13.
