Another Death attributed to COVID-19 in Rabun County

Another death has been attributed to COVID-19 in Rabun County.  According to the latest figures from the Georgia Department of Public Health, 27 deaths have now been attributed to complications of the respiratory virus in Rabun County.  There have now been 1,269 positive cases of the respiratory virus in Rabun County with 158 positive cases reported in the last two weeks.  In neighboring counties, Habersham County reports 4,173 cases and 105 deaths, White County lists 2,518 cases and 49 fatalities, and Towns County has had 864 cases and 27 deaths.  According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there have been a total of 695,400 positive cases of the virus across the state, of those, 47,311 have been hospitalized and the total death count due to complications of the virus has now risen to 11,411.
