Animals cause Two Recent Wrecks in Rabun County

Animals are being blamed for causing two recent wrecks in Rabun County.  According to the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office, the first crash happened on Dec. 11, at 4:27am on Georgia 15 near Old 441 when a deer ran out into the roadway causing the driver of a 2004 Nissan Frontier to lose control, strike a guardrail, travel down an embankment, and strike a tree.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.  The second wreck occurred on Dec. 15, at 7pm on U.S. 76 West when a sheep crossed the road causing the driver of a 2013 Ford Escape to hit it and causing damages to the front bumper.  No one was injured in the single-vehicle collision.
