A Burglary at a Local Business is Thwarted by Obstacle.

According to Deputy Chief Investigator, Jack Tanksley, a burglary took place at Piggly Wiggly in Dillard on Sunday, around 11:15 P.M.

Tanksley says according to video surveillance, the unidentified suspect  “went in the back door of the Piggly Wiggly store. He went to the cigarette case, which was locked. He couldn’t get into it. He just left the store, he did not take anything.”

While the suspect has yet to be identified, Tanksley says that could change very soon.

He states that they are looking at video surveillance, and that they have a person of interest in connection with the burglary.
