412 Deaths in Georgia due to Coronavirus

More lives have been claimed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Georgia.  In the six and half hours from noon to 6:30pm on Thursday, April 9, 2020, the Georgia Department of Public Health reports that 33 people died from the respiratory virus.  According to the latest Georgia Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 Daily Status Report, 412 lives have been lost as of 6:30pm compared to 379 deaths at noon. In addition, 10,885 people have tested positive for the Coronavirus in the state, which is an increase of 319 infections over the same time period.  The Georgia Department of Public Health lists 2,298 people are now being hospitalized with the Coronavirus. There are still just six positive cases of the virus in Rabun County.
