38.5% of Rabun County Residents are Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19

According to Covid ActNow, 6,601 or 38.5% of residents in Rabun County are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.  In addition, 7,118 or 41.5% of residents in Rabun County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.  Anybody who is at least 12-years-old is eligible to be vaccinated in Georgia.  Fewer than 0.001% of people who have received a COVID-19 vaccine dose have experienced a severe adverse reaction.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that vaccinated individuals wear masks in public indoor spaces to reduce the spread of the Delta variant of COVID-19.  Unvaccinated people should continue to wear a mask in all public spaces.  Indoor gatherings should be avoided with people outside the immediate household unless you are fully vaccinated.  Outdoor gatherings with masks and distancing continue to be the safest alternative.
