3 arrested on meth charges in Clayton

The Rabun County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals who were charged with possession of methamphetamine stemming from a search warrant.

Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the residence of Adam Giles, 33 of Clayton, on Desperado Hill Lane in Clayton. As a result of the search warrant, Shawn Moriarty, age 31 of Clayton, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, and Amber Justus, age 31 of Tiger, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

Giles was not present at the time of the search warrant but was located and arrested on an outstanding warrant for the Sell of Methamphetamine. At the time of his arrest, Giles was found to be in possession of a quantity of Methamphetamine and Schedule II narcotics.

Giles was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of a Schedule II narcotic. All subjects were transported to the Rabun County Detention Center.
