25 Deaths now attributed to COVID-19 in Rabun County

Twenty-five deaths have now been attributed to complications of COVID-19 in Rabun County.  According to the latest figures from the Georgia Department of Public Health, Rabun County has now had 1,193 positive cases of the respiratory virus.  There have been 184 cases reported in Rabun County in the last two weeks.  In neighboring counties, Habersham County reports 3,976 cases and 100 deaths, White County lists 2,380 cases and 42 fatalities, and Towns County has had 825 cases and 26 deaths.  According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, there have been a total of 654,356 positive cases of the virus across the state, of those, 45,533 have been hospitalized and the total death count due to complications of the virus has now risen to 10,580.
