Was it Atlanta Rush Hour Or Just School Traffic

Heavy traffic on Boggs Mountain Rd. tied up commuters dropping off and picking up students from school yesterday. Superintendent Matt Arthur said a lot of the delays were caused by an unusually large number of parents picking up and dropping off for the first day of school and that adjustments to the traffic patterns have been made…

“When they turn on Boggs Mountain and come up if their getting off at the Primary School we’re going to make that single lane, and then they will exit the school either going down our access road to the bridge, or they can access going towards Clayton Elementary.”

Superintendent Arthur also said this mornings traffic flow was much smoother than yesterdays and feels these adjustments should solve the traffic problems.
