University of North Georgia to offer Study Abroad Programs for High School Students

Next year, the University of North Georgia will offer three-week study abroad programs in Germany and France as part of a summer language program for high school students.

Each summer, UNG offers courses in multiple languages in the Federal Service Language Academy, which in 2016 will offer two sessions from June 5-24 and July 10-29. Students will live in a residence hall on UNG’s Dahlonega Campus and will study Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese or Russian.

High school students interested in college language classes who don’t want to study abroad can enroll in UNG’s Summer Language Institute (SLI), an intensive, residential language program that is open to rising high school juniors and seniors that is funded by Move On When Ready.
