Two Clayton businesses Subjected to shoplifting incidents last week.

 

Last Tuesday, the Treehouse, located on 112 North Main Street reported a shoplifting incident. According to the report, the store owner stated that three females had entered the store, and took an 18-inch drop necklace without paying. 

The very next day, Indigo, also located on Main Street had items that were shoplifted. There, it was reported that three clothing items were missing from the store. When asked, Assistant Chief of Police Andy Strait said that the same three girls involved in the Treehouse shoplifting, were involved in this one as well.

Three females were involved in both shoplifting instances, all items were returned, and both stores will not press charges, however, the suspects are not allowed on the property of either business.
