Tiger Man arrested on Multiple Charges after Traffic Stop

A Tiger man stands charged with fleeing, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession and use of drug-related objects, reckless driving, driving while license suspended, failure to obey a stop sign, expired tag, and improper signal.  On May 26, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Don’s Mobile on Georgia 15.  The deputy noticed a 2013 Toyota Scion sitting next to the gas station being driven by 21-year-old Dalton Jay Stockton of Tiger.  The deputy knew that there were warrants for Stockton’s arrest because attempts were made to take him into custody the prior day.  The deputy then attempted to stop the vehicle and Stockton attempted to flee.  He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Rabun County Detention Center for booking on the charges.
