Three Recent Wrecks in Rabun Co.

Deputies with the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked three recent wrecks in the county.  The first happened at 5:05pm on Jan. 7, at the intersection of Hamilton Lane and Bradford Road.  The driver of a 1999 Ford Ranger said his truck kept sticking in reverse and caused him to back into a 2005 Ford Escape.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle accident. The second wreck occurred at 4:28pm on Jan. 11, at the intersection of Georgia 15 and U.S. 441.  The driver of a 2015 Toyota Tacoma told the deputy that he was at the Walmart red light when he was struck from behind by an unknown vehicle that went around his vehicle and into the parking lot, then sped away after he gave chase.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision. The third wreck happened at 12:30pm on Jan. 12, in the Walmart parking lot. The driver of a 2001 GMC Sierra said that a 2016 KIA Optima pulled into a parking space next to him and struck his door.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle accident.
