Three Crashes on Saturday in Rabun Co.

Deputies of the Rabun County Sheriff’s Office worked three motor vehicle crashes on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020.  The first happened at 1:40pm on Georgia 15 and its intersection with George Eller Circle. The driver of a 2014 Toyota Highlander told the deputy that he was stuck in traffic, tried to do a U-turn, and struck a 1999 Chevrolet Express.  No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision. The second crash occurred at 2:54pm on Highway 76 West at its intersection with Bradford Road. The driver of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler said she pulled out of Bradford Road and was struck on the driver’s side by a 1995 Kawasaki.  The Kawasaki driver said that the Jeep pulled out in front of him. The Kawasaki driver was taken by Rabun County EMS to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the two-vehicle crash. The third wreck happened at 6:09pm on Georgia 15 at its intersection with Ledford Road.  The driver of a 2012 Subaru Forester was attempting to turn onto Ledford Road but didn’t see a 1988 Mitsubishi Mighty Max and struck it. The crash caused the Subaru to take down a stop sign and a street sign. No one was injured in the two-vehicle collision.
