Thanksgiving Gas Prices Lowest in Five Years

An estimated 89% of Americans will drive to their destination this Thanksgiving. Of the 41.3 million road trippers nationwide,  1.9 million of those will be Georgians, who will pay the lowest Thanksgiving gas prices in 5 years. The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded was $2.82 Sunday, 46 cents cheaper than the price on Thanksgiving Day of 2013. In Rabun County the average is 2.73 a gallon, 2 cents under the State average, and could drop a small bit more by Turkey day.
