Technology Upgrades Coming to Clayton City Hall/Police Department

The City of Clayton is set to receive technology upgrades at city hall.

During Tuesday’s Clayton City Council meeting, a representative from Boaz Media and Network Technologies, Allen Woerner, updated the council on upgrades that were requested, and good news was delivered. The server that will be used for the police department will be delivered and set up by next Monday. Woerner will also install the server, and ensure that the server is operable with the computers that are already being used by the department.

IT solutions were also discussed in the meeting, including setting up a more efficient email system, where city employees will transition to a .gov address.

Budget hearings have been scheduled for Monday, June 7th and 14th, at 1PM.
