Tax Relief for Georgians this Weekend

This weekend marks another tax-free weekend for Georgians. The tax-free weekend will begin on Friday, July 31, and end on Saturday, August 1. According to the Georgia Retail Association, the tax break is centered around creating lower cost for Georgians preparing for the upcoming school year, with sales taxes being lifted on all school supplies, clothing and shoes under $100, computers, and other various items. The Georgia DOT will also be lending a hand by suspending all construction related road closures that are located near shopping centers.
