Rabun Co. School Superintendent praising Teachers and Community

The Coronavirus has changed the world, especially for teachers and students.  Rabun County Schools Superintendent Dr. April Childers is praising teachers and staff for their hard work adapting to the global health pandemic.  “Our teachers are doing a wonderful job! I collected some information from them and it is amazing the amount of communication and effort they have put into reaching their children during this time.  Change is difficult for everyone and our teachers have gone beyond our expectations in providing instruction for our students.” Dr. Childers also thanks the community for their support during this difficult time.  “We appreciate everybody’s support, it’s been amazing the support we’ve received from the community and the parents. We know this has been difficult on parents too. They are not trained educators and they have become teachers of their students.  We appreciate all the effort that has gone in across the board from all of our employees but especially from the support from our families and communities because we are all in this together.” Rabun County Schools understand that this is a stressful situation for all students and families as we navigate through the Coronavirus pandemic.
