Quarry Vote Causes Avalanche of Disapproval From Residents

In last night’s meeting, County Commissioners heard an uproar from a full courtroom of Rabun County residents after approving the rezoning of property around the Rabun Quarry.The rezoning was approved with a 3 to 2 vote, against the zoning were Commissioners Stephen Arbiter and Kay Darnell, who attempted to calm the crowd to no avail.
