Prices at the Pump to Continue Decline, Says AAA

Gas prices have done the opposite of what was anticipated by forecasters.

According to Triple A, prices were expected to trend upward and possibly even hit a peak for the year, however, they are currently approximately forty cents below last April’s prices.

Oil prices are also down, and oil output is up after decreased demand for gasoline.

Triple A spokesperson Jessica Brady says that the downward trend is expected to continue.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in the state of Georgia is around $3.30, which is similar to that of Rabun County.

The national average is around $3.50.
